Windows 10, by my standards at least, is a mess. There is just too much pointless bloat that most of us don't care a single bit about. This is just a little list of things you can do to dramatically improve your experience using Windows 10.
Disable Cortana. Cortana seemed like a very useful tool when Windows 10 was first released - now, however, most people barely use it and all it is is a waste of taskbar space. It also tends to notify you about pointless things, as well as make searching for programs and files using the Start Menu much more difficult.
Unfortunately, Microsoft haven't made it easy to disable. To disable it, you must navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Policies > Microsoft > Windows in the Registry Editor (just type regedit in the start menu and press enter) and create a DWORD (32-bit) Value that is called AllowCortana. The value should be set to 0.
